About the Artist

As a child I recognized my love of glass with my first marble set. Beginning my hands on experience with stained glass in 1977. Quickly setting up a flat glass studio in the basement of my parent's lodge where I made custom windows with visions to go 3 dimensional.

I studied at San Francisco Art Institute 1982-1984.

I returned to Colorado and worked with glass part-time until I was able to discover my passion with Off Hand Glass Blowing in 1995, studying under Ed Broadfield, then as an apprentice to Barbara Saull in Denver for several years thereafter. My dream and vision came without a second thought within the first hour of the course.

I am fortunate to live in the heart of the Colorado Rockies near Rocky Mountain National Park and the community of Grand County; I am surrounded by beauty that lends me inspiration for color and design. The palate I see daily, throughout the day, no matter the weather proves I can mix and blend any color as displayed, un-challenged, in nature.

I seek collaboration of mixed media and fellow artists to create new dimensions, textures and twists for beautiful pieces of art.

If you possess one of my art glass objects or reformation of lighting, I hope you'll continue to feel the energy, expression and creativity of color, shape and movement that I felt when creating it. It comes from love.
